What to expect
Visiting a church for the first time can be a challenge. Thank you for checking out what worship at Crosspoint is like.
Crosspoint is a place where you can belong. Singles are welcome. Families are welcome. Seniors are welcome. Those with special needs are welcome. Crosspoint’s building is fully accessible for all.
Crosspoint’s worship services are relatively informal; most people dress the way they would for school or for dinner at a restaurant. Worship services usually range between 65-75 minutes in length.
Along with a mixture of current worship music and hymns, each service has times of prayer, Bible-reading, and a message explaining a Bible passage and its implications on our faith, our actions, and our attitudes. A time of fellowship is enjoyed by many after the service.
Children are welcome to stay with their parents or guardians for the worship service. We expect kids to add liveliness into each worship service, but if you prefer, childcare is available during each service for those 0-3 years of age. Children ages 3-10 years are invited to an age-appropriate Bible lesson. They are dismissed before the message and return after.
To make the building safe and comfortable for all, we ask people to avoid wearing strong scents and avoid bringing allergens like peanuts, tree nuts, or flowers into the building.
